Analytics Engineer

We are hiring an Analytics Engineer for a fast-growing London fintech going through a major transformation of its data estate, including a migration from Redshift to Snowflake. Analytics Engineering capability already exists here — this role is about greater ownership, stronger technical judgement, and taking responsibility for key parts of the platform. It suits someone operating at mid-level who is ready to step up into a senior seat.

The role

Own and evolve the company's dbt implementation
Design and build data models that solve real business problems
Help shape a modern Snowflake-based analytics platform
Establish engineering standards and best practice for analytics
Work directly with stakeholders on the numbers the business acts on
Explore how AI tooling can improve development workflows

What we are looking for

Strong analytics engineering experience with proven hands-on dbt expertise
Modern cloud data platform experience and strong data modelling
A track record of owning and delivering technical projects independently
A builder mentality focused on practical outcomes
Highly desirable: Snowflake, platform migration or modernisation experience, fintech or payments, scale-up environments
